Hypnotherapy

A session using guided attention and imagery to explore what you are experiencing and practice different responses.

What to expect

What a session looks like

First we talk about what brings you here. Then I guide your attention toward images, sensations or ideas. You can speak during the exercise and tell me what you are experiencing.

Topics we can explore

  • Anxiety
  • Fears and phobias
  • Emotional trauma
  • Repetitive thoughts
  • Fear of being alone
  • Fear of leaving home or driving
  • Physical pain

About the subconscious

We sometimes use “subconscious” to describe processes, associations and responses we do not notice right away. In a session, the word helps us talk about your experience. It does not mean we can access hidden memories.

Hypnotherapy can complement your care. Consult a health professional if symptoms persist.
